NOWSHERA, 17 July: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak has said 1.8 million families will be included in the health insurance scheme this year.
Addressing a meeting in Sarwarkhel area of Nowshera on Saturday, the chief minister said cards will be issued next month to the families which have been registered already. He said improving the life standard of people and providing jobs is among the top priorities of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Mr Khattak said the interference of bureaucracy in the local government system has come to an end. He said 80 percent development budget will be spent by the provincial assembly members and local government representatives this year.
