PESHAWAR, July 14: The Saudi Arabian authorities have distributed food items among 1,000 deserving families of Chitral under the King Abdullah Relief Campaign for Pakistan.

The food items include floor, ghee, pulses, sugar, rice and black tea. TNN correspondent says the food items were being distributed among the underprivileged people of Chitral for the last several years by the Saudi Arabian kingdom.

Local residents have appreciated the campaign and thanked the Saudi authorities. A resident told TNN, “We are very thankful for this favour from the Saudi government. They have been giving aid to Pakistan’s needy people for the last five years and we are hopeful that they will continue their assistance in future too.”
