PESHAWAR, 02 February: At least 20 people have been killed and 29 others injured in a suicide attack on a police office in Kabul on Monday evening, government officials said.

According to official account, the alleged suicide bomber blew himself up after entering a queue of people entering the office of Afghan National Civil Order Police (ANCOP).

Most of the people died in the blast are common people, said an official, adding some police personnel also killed in the attack.

Taliban has accepted the responsibility as media reports suggest the office which is targeted in the attack, has been actively taking part in operations against Taliban militants.
