PESHAWAR: Twenty-two members of a family sustained burn injuries when a cylinder exploded in Turbat town of Kech district in Balochistan on Friday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Frontier Constabulary (FC) Balochistan immediately reached the site, provided first aid to the victims and coordinated air evacuation of 12 serious victims to Karachi on a Pakistan Navy aircraft. Most of the victims of the incident were women. Further details about the circumstances around the incident were not immediately available.
Meanwhile, two persons were injured as boundary walls of several houses collapsed during heavy rain and strong wind in Mardan on Friday night.
25-year-old Nigar was injured in a wall collapse incident in Toru area, while 12-year-old Rizwan was injured in wall collapse incident in Akhun Abad area on Katlang Road.
Rescue 1122 personnel immediately shifted the injured to Mardan Medical Complex, where their condition was stated to be stable.
