PESHAWAR, 24 November: As many 28 girls have been shortlist for the Under-17 girls’ cricket team of the Peshawar region as one-day trials concluded here on Tuesday.
Member, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) selection committee Raham Bibi supervised the trials which held on Frontier College ground. More than 60 girl players from Peshawar, Swat, Lower Dir, Nowshehra and Charsada took part in the trials.
Talking on this occasion Raham Bibi said these players would be trained for one week in the camp after which final team comprising 20 players would be selected. The team will compete in the Under-17 championship to be played in Lahore in January next.
