Jet fighters

MIRANSHAH, July 21: The Pakistan Army claims they have killed 28 more militants in the military operation in North Waziristan tribal region.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, which manages public relations for the Pakistani armed forces, the jet fighters shelled areas in Shawal tehsil, destroying six hideouts.

It says those killed included local and foreign militants. The Pakistan Army launched military operation “Zarb-e-Azb” against local and foreign militants in North Waziristan on 15 June. “Azb” was the name of the sword of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
