MIRANSHAH, November 14: The Pakistan Army claims to have killed about 30 militants and destroyed several hideouts in airstrikes in North Waziristan Agency.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) says that the aerial strikes were carried out in the area of Dattakhel in the morning. As a result, 30 suspected militants died and their hideouts destroyed.
The ISPR says that those killed also include foreign fighters.
Thousands of families have been displaced from North Waziristan tribal region as a result of military operation that the Pakistan Army has named “Zarb-e-Azb.” “Azb” was the name of a sword of the holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
