PESHAWAR, 30 June: An earthquake measuring 5.6 on Richter scale jolted different parts of the country, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Tuesday.
The tremors were felt at Sehr time in Peshawar, Nowshera, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Kashmir and many other areas of the country. The Pakistan Meteorological Department said the epicentre of the quake was recorded at the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border region.
People came out of their houses during the earthquake. However, no life loss or damage to property was reported.
