BARA, 17 October: Five people of a family were killed and five others sustained injuries in a traffic accident in Khyber Agency near the Pak-Afghan border on Friday.

The political administration said Maroof, a resident of Afghanistan, was travelling from Peshawar to Jalalabad along with his family when his vehicle collided head on with a flying coach coming from the opposite direction in Gamrak area. Two people died on the spot, while three others succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.

The bodies of the accident victims were sent to Afghanistan for burial.
