PESHAWAR, 11 November: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested five people involved in illegal hundi (financial transaction) business in Peshawar.

The FIA says under the National Action Plan (NAP), raids were conducted in Peshawar against people involved in illegal financial transactions on Tuesday and 6 million Pakistani rupees, 31,000 US dollars, 3,500 euros and currency of other countries and prize bonds were recovered. It said computers and other equipment used by the people involved in hundi business were also confiscated.
