LOWER DIR, 29 November: Police in Lower Dir have arrested five suspects involved in the murder of a trader three days ago.
District Police Officer (DPO) Qasim Ali Khan told media persons at Och Police Station on Saturday that these suspects have been arrested by investigating suspect mobile phone data with the help of intelligence agencies. He said Rs6 million snatched from the slain trader and weapons used in the crime were also recovered from the possession of arrested suspects.
The DPO also presented these suspects before the media. Two suspects belong to Lower Dir, two hail from Charsadda and one belong to Swat. Another suspect hailing from Charsadda is still at large. The family members of the slain trader Jameeullah said he was killed by robbers when he offered resistance during robbery. They said Rs20 million were snatched from the trader.
