JAMRUD, June 25: The Health Directorate of FATA has distributed 5,000 mosquito nets among the Kokikhel tribal families displaced from Tirah valley of Khyber Agency.
Our correspondent says head of Malaria Control Programme at Jamrud Government Civil Hospital, Mr Siddique Afridi, distributed the mosquito nets among affected families of Rajgal, Wocha Wona, Sra Vela, Meraban and Tora Dara areas.
Mr Bakht Khan, who also received a mosquito net, told TNN, “These nets will save our children from the diseases caused by mosquito bite. When we came here from Tirah valley, we noticed there were mosquitoes in abundance. We also demand the government hold free medical camps to treat us against other diseases.”
