PESHAWAR, October 31: The 5th Shah Gold Cup Cricket Tournament has started in the provincial capital Peshawar.

Former secretary of Peshawar District Cricket Association, Mr Hanif Shah, inaugurated the sports event.

The Gul Club scored 268 runs in 35 overs in the first match played at Gymkhana Cricket Ground. However, the team of Peshawar Badshah Club got out by 138 runs in just 25 overs.

The teams from Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Charsadda and Nowshera are participating in the tournament.
