PESHAWAR, 22 November: A strong earthquake jolted different parts of Pakistan on Sunday night.

Jolts were felt in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Punjab, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Islamabad. The intensity of the quake was 6.2 on Richter Scale and its epicenter was at Afghanistan-Tajikistan border area 86 kilometres deep in the earth, the Meteorological Department said .

The frightened people came out of their houses during the tremors. There were no immediate reports of any life or property loss in the quake.
