PESHAWAR, 3 October: Fata Development Authority (FDA) has decided to provide training to 60 tribal students in hotel management and medical fields in various institutions in the country.

Talking to TNN, FDA coordinator for Fata, Tufail said that selected students would be sent to reputable five star hotels and medical institutions for six month internship to get hands on training in the supervision of experienced staff.

He said that FDA would pay monthly Rs 2500 stipend to each student in addition to free accommodation and transport facilities. After the completion of the training, the students would be able to get jobs in respective fields easily, he said adding that so far 19000 female and 14000 male from tribal areas had been trained in various trades including wielding, tailoring, sewing and mobile repairing etc.
