PESHAWAR: The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Monday decided to add 0.7 million deserving families under Sehat Saholat Card Programme to enable them to avail free treatment.

The government also decided to third and last phase of the programme during November.

According to media reports, around 1.8 million families have been availing treatment under Sehat Saholat Cards.

The cards would be distributed among 0.7 million new registered families at the end of this month.

The programme was initially launched in Chitral, Mardan, Malakand and Kohat and later extended to the whole province.

The government claimed that around 10 million families would benefit from the programme who could spend around Rs.54 million on their treatment.
