PESHAWAR, October 3: About 2.5 million Muslims from all over the world are performing Hajj in Saudi Arabia today.
The pilgrims reached Mina yesterday and they are going to Arafat today to perform the Waqoof-e-Arafat where they will listen to the sermon of grand Musfti Sheikh Abdul Aziz. They will perform Waqoof-e-Arafa after Zuhr and Asr prayers and pray to Almighty Allah.
At sunset, the pilgrims will leave Arafat and leave for Muzdalfa where they will collect pebbles for hitting for Rami Jamarat, which means pelting stones on Satan.
Reaching Mina, they would perform Jamarat ul Aqaba, offer Qurbani and then would leave for Makka al Mukarrama, where they would perform around Baitullah Sharif Tawaf-e-Ziarat and, thereafter, shaving their heads they would take off Ehram.
Ehram is sacred dress of Muslim pilgrims, consisting of two lengths of white cotton, one wrapped around the loins, the other thrown over the left shoulder.
