ISLAMABAD, 19 October: An accountability court here Thursday indicted former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar in Avenfiled apartments ownership cases.

The accused had filed three applications before the court. The accused requested the court to delay indictment until the release of detailed order by the apex court over review petition filed against the court July 28 order in Panama papers case.

In the second application, the accused were not provided with copies of statements by all statements while in the third application the accused appealed the court to club all the three references as one.

The defence team adopted that statemetns of witnesses Shakeel Anjum, Saeed Ahmad and Basharat Mehmud.

Besides, the application said that copy of volume X of Joint Investigation Report has not been provided mandatory under section 265-C of CrPC, read with Article 10-A of the constitution.

The court, however, dismissed all the applications and proceeded with the indictment of the accused.
