RAWALPINDI: Afghan ambassador to Pakistan Dr Omar Zakhilwal has called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters Rawalpindi on Wednesday and discussed regional security.

They further discussed matters of mutual interest and the current peace and security situation in Afghanistan, said an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release.

They reaffirmed the commitment towards the common goal of peace and stability in the region and discussed issues of mutual interest, regional security, and cooperation between both the countries during the meeting.
