PESHAWAR, 12 November: Afghan president Ashraf Ghani on Wednesday vowed to avenge the killing of seven members of Hazara community from the militants.

In his address to the nation, the Afghan president said the government will take action against anyone responsible for the brutal incident either it is Daesh or the Taliban militants.

The bodies of seven Hazara community members, including two women and a nine-year-old girl, were found in Zabul province few days ago.

Thousands of people staged protest demonstration in front of the presidential palace in Afghan capital Kabul against the killings. The protesters demanded security for every Afghan citizen. The angry protesters tried to scale the walls of the presidential palace and hurled stones which prompted the security guards to open fire. At least eight people were injured during the violent protest.
