KABUL, 04 July: At least 30 militants and 18 Afghan security personnel were killed in Bamyan in Kabul and Jalrez district of Wardak province, respectively.

Spokesman for the governor of Wardak, Attaullah Khogyani, said that Taliban militants attacked security check-posts in Jalrez, killing 10 policemen and injuring four others, two to them non-combatant civilians.

Meanwhile, he added, that the security forces killed 30 Taliban militants, including four high-value commanders, on Bamyan Highway in Kabul. Besides, 18 others were injured. Taliban militants have claimed having getting control over 14 check-posts in Jalrez district.
