NORTH WAZIRISTAN: A suspected Afghan terrorist involved in militant activities was killed during a security operation in Dattakhel, the military's media wing, ISPR, reported on February 6.
According to ISPR, the terrorist, identified as Luqman Khan alias Nusrat, was the son of Kamal Khan and a resident of Spera District, Khost Province, Afghanistan. Pakistani authorities are now in contact with the interim Afghan government to facilitate the handover of his body.

ISPR emphasized that such incidents provide undeniable evidence of Afghan nationals' involvement in terrorist activities in Pakistan. It urged the interim Afghan administration to fulfill its responsibilities and prevent the use of Afghan soil for attacks against Pakistan.
A day earlier, security forces had neutralized 12 terrorists and injured four others in an operation in the Margah area near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. During the clash, Lance Naik Muhammad Ibrahim was martyred, while a captain and two other personnel sustained injuries.
