PESHAWAR, 11 July: Afghan cricket team has beaten United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Scotland last day, the second consecutive victory in the T20 Cricket World Cup Qualifier Tournament.

Batting first, the UAE gave a target of 165 to Afghan team. In reply, Afghan team achieved the target in 17th over at the loss of two wickets. Afghan wicket keeper Muhammad Shahzad was declared man of the match for scoring 74 runs on 43 balls. Earlier, Afghan team defeated Netherlands in the first match of the event. It will play its third match against Scotland tomorrow.
