PESHAWAR: Ajmal Wazir, advisor to Chief Minister for tribal districts has repudiated the rumours about any change in the provincial cabinet and asked media to stop ‘trial’ of provincial ministers.
Shaukat Yousafzai, spokesperson of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government also refused that he has ever talked about any change or removal of any provincial minister.
“No decision has been taken regarding changes in provincial cabinet,” said Ajmal Wazir while talking to media. “There is no reality in the news about any change in cabinet and the media should stop the trial of ministers.”
Shaukat Yousafzai also said that he has never talked about the change of any minister including Shahram Khan Tarkai, Atif Khan, Mohib Ullah or another minister. He made it clear that the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf government will take any decision in this regard on the bases of efficiency of ministries.
Rs293 million worth minerals have been auctioned
PESHAWAR: Rs293 million worth minerals have been auction by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mineral department on Friday. The minerals which were put on auction included Granite, dolomite, marble and field super etc.
The direction in the regard was issued by the minister for mineral Dr Amjad Ali. While other government officials including Director General Mineral Department Muntazir Khan, Secretary Finance Ghulam Mustafa Haider, Deputy Secretary Mineral Department Javed Iqbal, Director Exploration Amir Khan, deputy director Mineral department Nasrullah and other relevant officials were present in the auction ceremony
“Hundreds of bidders took in the auction which was conducted on merit basis and in a transparent manner, said the mineral minister. Speaking on the occasion, the DG said the government would extend the invitation to national and foreign companies for injecting investment in mineral sector which would generate revenues to exchequer. The minerals which were put on auction included Granite, dolomite, marble and field super etc.
