PESHAWAR, 31 May: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan will take any necessary action against the anti-Pakistan elements and their activities.
The prime minister said this during a meeting with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif at the headquarters of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) in Islamabad yesterday. Director General ISI Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar was also present during the meeting.
The ISI chief on the occasion briefed the prime minister and army chief on internal and external security situation and progress in the ongoing military operations against militants in Pakistan.
The prime minister expressed concern over the statements of the Indian leadership against Pakistan. He commended the Pakistan Army for its sacrifices and efforts in the war against terrorism.
