TIMERGARAH, 06 December: The annual district sports gala of the government sector girls’ high schools has concluded here on Sunday.
A ceremony was held at the Government Girls Centennial Model High School wherein the successful girls and their schools were awarded prized and trophies.
Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School, Mayar clinched the trophy while the best performance award was given to Miss Lail an Nahar, principal of the Government Girls Centennial Model High School.
Member National Assembly Aisha Syed, who was chief guest on the occasion gave away prizes to students and teachers for best performances. She also announced cash prize of Rs.30,000 for the sport committee for holding the event.
