QUETTA, 27 April: Unidentified target killers gunned down two persons of Hazara community, besides injuring another, at Bacha Khan Square today.
After the incident, the police cordoned off the area and started search operation to track down the culprits behind the targeted killing of two Shia community members.
Chaired by Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Malik Baloch, a high-level meeting was also held to review the deteriorating law and order situation. The government has banned pillion riding in Quetta but the security forces have yet to arrest the culprits behind targeted killing incidents.
During the fresh wave of Shia targeted killing six people have so far been shot dead and over 10 were injured during the last few days. The growing number of targeted killing cases in Quetta has also adversely business activities in the Quetta.
