PESHAWAR, 18 November: The Awami National Party (ANP) leader and former Senator Haji Muhammad Adeel has passed away at the age of 72.

Haji Muhammad Adeel was suffering from kidney disease and he died at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Peshawar at 3:00am on Friday. He was born in 1944 in Peshawar and currently he was serving as senior vice president of the party. He also served as the party’s central president for one and a half years. He served as a senator from 2009-15, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly deputy speaker from 1997-99 and also performed duties as provincial finance minister.

Nimaz-e-Janaza of Haji Adeel will be held at 4:00pm at Jinnah Park in Peshawar.
