PESHAWAR, May 6: The Prime Minister, Mr Nawaz Sharif, has said some people were not in favour of ceasefire between the Taliban and government.

“These people are neither the supporters of Pakistani government, nor the Taliban. They just want to create hurdles in the peace talks and for the purpose they carried out bomb explosions including the blast in Islamabad vegetable market,” Mr Sharif told a British media organisation during his visit to the UK.

He said the government, army and other state institutions were working together for peace and that they were carrying forward peace talks with the Taliban.
