PESHAWAR, 03 December: Afghan President Ashraf Ghani is likely to visit Pakistan next week, Foreign Office confirmed on Thursday.

During his visit, Mr. Ghani will attend a conference in Islamabad on security situation in Afghanistan. Besides, he will also hold meetings with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and other government functionaries and will discuss matters pertaining to the current security situation in the war-torn Afghanistan.

Prime Minister Sharif and Afghan President Ghani met in Paris on the sidelines of international conference on climate changes a few days ago wherein PM Sharif assured Ghani of Pakistan’s full support in the peace process.
