PESHAWAR, November 15: Pakistani Prime Minister Mr Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has assured Afghan President Mr Ashraf Ghani that Pakistan fully supports peace in Afghanistan.
In a press conference at the PM House, Mr Sharif said that Pakistan would continue to strive for political and economic stability in Afghanistan and would make endeavors to eliminate terrorism from both the countries.
Meanwhile, the Afghan president termed his visit as most important and a memorable one. He said both of the countries were determined to collaborate with each other in trade and other sectors by putting aside all of the past grievances.
Chief of Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif also met the Afghan President yesterday. Official sources say that the COAS had also offered to train the Afghan National Army (ANA), which was accepted by Mr Ashraf Ghani.
