QUETTA, 17 November: At least 12 people were killed and more than a 100 injured when Rawalpindi-bound Jaffer Express derailed near Aab-e-Gum area in Bolan district of Balochistan.

According to local police and Pakistan Railway (PR) authorities, Jaffer Express left Quetta on early Tuesday morning for Rawalpindi and when it reached Aab-e-Gum area, it derailed from the track. Rescue teams of Pak Army, Frontier Corps and Levis reached to the spot and started rescue and relief activities immediately. The injured have been evacuated by Army helicopters and shifted to different hospitals.
