PESHAWAR, 12 November: An anti-terrorism court in Peshawar Thursday convicted an Afghan national for 33 years after charges of terrorism were proved against him. The court also ordered the deportation of the person after he completed his term in jail.

The accused, Noor Agha, was arrested by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in January last along with explosives and weapons. Besides other offences, he was charged under section seven of the anti-terrorism act (ATA).
