lrh protest

PESHAWAR, May 21: Attendants of patients at the Lady Reading Hospital, the biggest public sector hospital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, have protested against absence of doctors.

Addressing a rally, they said the Young Doctors Associations had gone on strike for fulfillment of their demands for the last several days, creating a host of problems for the patients.

Mr Arsalam, attendant of a patient, told TNN, “It is the sixth day of the doctors’ strike and our patients are lying helpless. Even today two patients have passed away.”
