PESHAWAR, 15 November: Australia’s Mitchel Starc has joined the elite club of world’s fastest bowlers by delivering a ball beyond the landmark speed of 160km/h against New Zealand at Perth on Sunday.

Starc bowled the delivery of his career at a speed of 160.4km/h during a test match. In cricket history, Pakistan’s Shoaib Akhtar has bowled the fastest delivery , who was popular by the nickname “Rawalpindi Express”, at a speed of 161.3 km/h followed by Australia’s duo Bret Lee and Shaun Tait who had bowled the second fastest ball in cricket history at the speed of 161.1 km/h.
