PESHAWAR, 30 November: Australia have won the first day-night Test match of the cricket history by three wickets.

The match which was played with a pink ball in Adelaide was decided in three days. On third day of the Test on Sunday, Australia surpassed the target of 187 runs given by New Zealand with the loss of seven wickets.

New Zealand had scored 202 runs in the first innings and Australia scored 224. In the second innings New Zealand scored 208 runs and gave a target of 187 runs to Australia. Aussies chased the target with three wickets to spare.

Australia have won the three-match series 2-0. The first two matches of the series were played in day time. Australia had won the first match, while the second match ended in a draw.
