BANNU: Three policemen have been arrested for possessing Hashish in Bannu district on Thursday. Bannu police said that policemen have been arrested after Hashish was recovered from their possession and case was registered against them.

According to the police, accused were identified as Aafidullah, Rauf Khan and Constable Asghar. They are accused that they had recovered 12 grams of hashish from an accused named Shahid and locked him in the custody. As per the police, the three suspects had made a deal with the accused Shahid and kept the hashish with them and released him.

However, when the SHO come to know about the issue he taken Aafidullah into custody and on through search recovered Chars from his possession. Subsequently, a case has been registered against the three accused. On the other hand, locals say that drug trafficking and its use in Bannu over the past few months.

Nowshera Police recover missing sisters

NOWSHERA: Jalozai Police on Thursday have successfully recovered two sisters missing from their house ten days back. Police said on 19-09-2019, wife of Amir Jan, a resident of Bajaur who lives in Jalozai, reported the disappearance of her two daughters, 10-year-old Nagina and 04-year-old Hafsa to Jalozai police station.

DIG Mardan Mohammad Ali Khan Gundapur assigned the task of immediate recovery of the girl by forming a team comprising DSP Pabbi Khalid Khan, SHO Jalozai Altaf Hussain, SHO Pabbi Haji Mohammad Khan and district Police Officer Mansoor Aman.

After a thorough search of ten days, the police team was finally successful and the girls were spotted yesterday near Sabzi Mandi in Rawalpindi. Both sisters were handed over to their mother on Thursday during a press conference. The policemen informed that both the resister have left their home. The relatives and the people of the area thanked the police for timely action.
