PESHAWAR, 12 December: Pakistan has prepared a bill under which the people involved in religious extremism and issuing threats through the Internet will face up to 14 years imprisonment and up to Rs50 million fine.

The bill was presented in the National Assembly by the NA Standing Committee on Information Technology chairman Captain (Retd) Safdar on Friday which was approved. He said the people involved in spreading terrorism through the Internet will face punishment under this bill.
