PESHAWAR, 28 September: A bomb blast during a volleyball match in Paktika province of Afghanistan on Sunday evening killed at least 10 people and injured about 30 others.
The incident happened in Segana Killi area of Khair Kot district where a bomb planted in a motorcycle exploded near the spectators during the match. Children were also among the dead and injured.
Local officials said the number of deaths may increase as several injured people were in critical condition. No group has claimed responsibility for the blast. Fifty persons were killed in the same area in a suicide blast during a volleyball match last year.
