KABUL, 07 April: Work is in progress on the construction of 22-meter bridge in Paroon area of Nooristan province in Afghanistan.

According to local authorities the project will be completed in three months at an estimated cost of 8million Afghanis.

The bridge having eight meter width will provide relief in transportation to the people of surrounding villages, who have been presently facing problems while crossing over the river.

It merits recalling here that as many as eight people were killed in a road accident last month in the same area. According to local people, the accident happened mainly due to the non-availability of the bridge.
