PESHAWAR, 3 November: A calligraphy exhibition of students of Madrassas (religious seminaries) was organised in Peshawar on Thursday.

Twenty-five students from three religious seminaries participated in the exhibition organised by UNICEF and a non-governmental organisation at Nishtar Hall. The students had displayed their calligraphic skills in nastaliq, nasakh and suls, while some students had made paintings with water colours and tube colours. Some students also used calligraphic stones and received appreciation from the visitors.

Similar exhibitions were earlier organised in Kohat and Swat.
