North Waziristan IDPs complain of being given substandard ration

The internally displaced tribesmen of North Waziristan residing in Bannu complained they are being given substandard food items by the Fata disaster management authority (FDMA). “The pulses and other food items which they give to us as ration are substandard. We have no other option but to sell them in the market and purchase good quality stuff,” said a tribesman while talking to TNN here. Standing in a long queue to get their ration in front of a distribution point in Domail, the tribesman said the flour given to them as part of the ration is also of low standard.
