Probe report about death of eunuch at hospital submitted to CM

The investigation report about the death of a eunuch, Aleesha at the Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) during treatment has been completed and sent to the hospital’s Board of Governors (BoD) and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak. The committee formed by Health Minister Shahram Khan Tarakai and Health Secretary Abid Majeed said in its report that Aleesha died due to negligence of doctors at the orthopaedic ward of the hospital and medical director.

Free WiFi facility to be provided to the UoP students: minister

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senior Minister for Information Technology Shahram Tarakai has directed the high ups of Information Technology Department to make all the necessary arrangements to provide round the clock free of cost WiFi facility to the students of University of Peshawar (UoP) and other adjacent institutions within the campuses under the “KP Open WiFi” project of the department so that the students could have free internet facility for their research and educational activities within the campuses.

Hamza Baba’s 22nd death anniversary being observed today

The 22nd death anniversary of renowned Pashto poet, writer, critic and intellectual Ameer Hamza Khan Shinwari is being observed today on Thursday. Popular as Baba-e-Ghazal, Hamza Shinwari was born in 1907 in Landi Kotal area of Khyber Agency. Though he attended school only up to nine grade, he has authored more than 25 books of poetry and prose.
