The investigation report about the death of a eunuch, Aleesha at the Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) during treatment has been completed and sent to the hospital’s Board of Governors (BoD) and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak. The 22nd death anniversary of renowned Pashto poet, writer, critic and intellectual Ameer Hamza Khan Shinwari is being observed today on Thursday. Popular as Baba-e-Ghazal, Hamza Shinwari was born in 1907 in Landi Kotal area of Khyber Agency. Though he attended school only up to nine grade, he has authored more than 25 books of poetry and prose. He has also the distinction to translate poetry of great philosophic poet Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal into Pashto language.
