No burn center for burn victims in KP: Report

Around 57 persons suffer burn injuries on daily basis in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but there is not a single burn center to treat them, revealed a report of Districts Health Information Center here Monday. The report recorded 5150 persons have suffered minor or severe burn injuries in the first three months of this year in the province.

Exhibition of students’ projects organised at UET Peshawar

An exhibition of various projects prepared by the students was organised at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar on Tuesday. Thirty-eight projects, including electricity-producing projects, were put on display on the occasion. Closure of two schools in Lakki Marwat village affecting girls’ education

A local citizen of Tarikhel, Naseer Khan said Trikhel Primary School No. 1 was constructed 20 years ago, but it remains closed since then. He said the Girls Primary School No. 2 was constructed in 2005 during the government of the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but that also remains locked for unknown reasons.
