Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) employees staged a protest demonstration against handing over of the authority to Shaheen Foundation owned by Pakistan Airforce. Tevta employees gathered outside Peshawar Press Club and staged a sit-in while they also chanted slogans against the provincial government.

Tournament of Yousafzai tribe’s traditional game Mukha concluded here in Shamozai village of district Mardan the other day. The final match of the tournament was played between two teams from district Buner. The Bazargai team beat Geraray team by 34-33 after a sensational and close contest. As many as 13 teams from Mardan, Swabi and Buner participated in the traditional game which resembles with modern day archery.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police spokesman Muhammad Riaz Yousafzai said Sub-Inspector Shah Dauran, constable Kifayatullah and driver Rafiqul Islam on Tuesday forced a suspect arrested on charges of murder and extortion to make animal sounds while taking him to court.
