Four women, girl drown in Kohat’s Khandar Dam

Four women and a girl belonging to the same family drowned in Khandar Dam in Kohat on Saturday. The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) said a family had come to the dam for picnic. As many as seven laborers have died and another wounded as a coalmine collapsed in Qala Khan Gilani Lais in Quetta, family sources of the dead miners said here on Friday. As per details all the miners were residents of Karo Dara area in tehsil Wari of district Upper Dir.
