Rs19 million approved for construction works at Ghallanai stadium

The administration of Mohmand Agency has approved Rs19 million for construction of sports stadium in Ghallanai. The administration has also asked the concerned authorities to complete construction work on the stadium within two months. Agency Sports Manager Saeed Akhtar said the amount was approved by former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan.

Under-23 provincial games to be held in November, says official

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under-23 games will be organized in November, Adil Safi, deputy secretary of the provincial sports department said during a chat with media persons in Qayum Sport Complex here on Monday. Safi informed that about 7000 players, both male and female would participate in the event. “During the first phase, these competitions will be held on district level. The female players will compete in 13 events while the male players will take part in 15 sports competitions,” he informed.
