PESHAWAR, 2 November: Students from Chitral district have protested against the University of Peshawar (UoP) administration for not following the order of  Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan who had waived off their one admission year fees following devastating flood that hit chitral recently.

The protesting students raised slogans against the university administration. They said that following the recent flood that badly  affected Chitral , governor KP had directed all the public sector universities in the province to waive off admission fee for one academic year of the students belonging to the Chitral district.

However they said that administration of the varsity was forcing them to submit their admission fees. One of the protesting students warned ” If our admission fees are not waived off, we will protest and block the participation of KP governor in annual convocation of the varsity on November 4.
