PESHAWAR, 22 July: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak has ordered construction of 100 girls’ schools and upgradation of 250 more schools on immediate basis.
The KP Information Department said that under the initiative 50 primary schools will be upgraded to middle level, 100 middle schools will be upgraded to high level and 100 high schools will be upgraded to higher secondary level. The chief minister issued these directions while chairing a high-level meeting at the Secretariat on Thursday.
The chief minister said impediments in completion of ongoing development projects should be removed. He also ordered construction of 20 basic health units.
