MINGORA, 13 March: To promote traditional singing and revive local culture, a mesmerizing musical night was arranged jointly by the Culture Department and a non-governmental organization here in a local hotel on Sunday.
Eminent vocalists Sadia Shah and Ghazala enthralled the audience with their melodious voices and songs.
The singers said they loved to sing in front of their fans, adding they became popular due to the love and support of the public.
Haris Badar, who organized the event said that it was his group’s endeavor in order to promote different colors of Pakhtun culture.
“Last year, we had arranged such programs in six union councils of Swat. We will continue to support local singers and will hold musical nights in four union councils during this year,” he informed.
Local residents enjoyed music and appreciated the organizers for hosting a colorful evening.
